Doubts: By 2024 Colombia would increase all its installed capacity by 60% only with wind and solar power plants

The UPME assigned more than 16 GW, where the bulk of the ventures are wind and photovoltaic, and a good part of them would start operating between 2023 and 2024, according to what the companies declared. However, the euphoria of projects presented to compete for capacity, which amount to 59 GW, over a maximum demand of 10 GW, is worrying.
