A project advances in Chile to supplant all thermoelectric plants by renewables by 2030 / Avanza un proyecto en Chile para suplantar a todas las termoeléctricas por renovables al 2030

The Mining and Energy Commission of the Senate of Chile approved a project that requires the cessation of operation of all thermoelectric plants for the next 9 years. This would mean disarming 44.7% of the entire supply of installed electricity generation.
