Colombia will invest about 1.5 million euros in studies for the development of green hydrogen

The Minister of Mines and Energy, Diego Mesa, accompanied by the President of the Republic, Iván Duque, announced the results of the first call for hydrogen, led by the Fund for Non-Conventional Energies and Efficient Energy Management (FENOGE) and in which approved the financing of 10 projects for a value of 6,570 million Colombian pesos (about 1.5 million euros).

Although the amount might not look big, it could still be a way into Colombia’s push towards the so-called Green hydrogen. Considering European expertise, European firms could have an edge in this call.
