The Government, headed by the Ministry of Mines and Energy, published the hydrogen roadmap, which will mark the way for the next 30 years for the development, generation and use of this cleaner fuel, promoting the consolidation of the Energy Transition that Colombia leads in the region.

There could be potential opportunities, already in the short term, as the national government wants to have three pilot projects working before the end of its term (August 7th, 2022): one in the Ecopetrol refinery, and two in transportation. In addition, 13 green hydrogen, ammonia and e-fuels projects are being evaluated.
