On the 22nd of February, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport in Hyogo (Hyogo Prefecture, Japan) launched a public tender for dredging work on a channel and anchor ground in the port of Osaka and the Muko River. Concretely it concerns dredging work and earth and sand injection work on the Osaka Kohoku Konan area shipping route and anchorage (-16m). In the Mukogawa river excavation (dredging) of the riverbed, earth and sand injection work, and miscellaneous work will be carried out.  This tender concerns an open tendering procedure under the GPA-rules of the World Trade Organization (WTO).   More information on the tender, as well as design documents can be found on the below two websites (Japanese only) between the 22nd of February and the 24th of May 2022. Necessary documents to prove eligibility to participate in the tender need to be submitted to the electronic tender system (https://www.e-bisc.go.jp/index.html) by the 28th of March. Please note that opening hours of the system are limited. A bid deposit is to be made by participants, together with the necessary documents to this tender’s project contact between the 18th of April and the 25th of May 2022. The deadline for tender submission will be Tuesday the 24nd of May, 14:00 Japanese time. The tender submission is to be done through the aforementioned electronic tender system.
